Mosul: Serial Killer On The Loose?
Residents of Mosul are a bit on edge after reading this breaking news story from AP (November 26, 2004):
But we shouldn't get too upset at hearing about the 54 Americans and couple thousand Fallujah residents who died last week, right? Also from AP, same date (November 26, 2004):
U.S. forces found 13 more bodies in and around the northern city of Mosul, the military said Friday, bringing to 35 the number of corpses discovered in the past week in the area shaken by an insurgent uprising.My God! So many people murdered in one community in one week! Thirty-five people!

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - More than 2,000 people have been killed so far in the U.S.-Iraqi operation against the former insurgent stronghold of Fallujah, an Iraqi official said Thursday.Not to worry. American officials have assured residents in Mosul that all casualties in Fallujah were evil foreign insurgents and that civilians in Mosul have nothing to fear from the upcoming American onslaught unless they are a) in a hospital, b) women, children, or elderly, or c) males between the ages of 12 and 82.
